Ep #98 - Hey, it's Matt Brauning and I'm excited to share this episode because I will be covering the topic of radio interviews and how to crush it when you are on the air. If you ever have the chance to get yourself and your business in front of media outlets such as radio, television, podcasts or live events, it's important to understand what to expect and how to succeed within an interview.
In today's discussion, I will share my top tips for holding interesting interviews that benefit both you and the host of the show you are on. To demonstrate how I handle interviews, I will first describe my interview strategies and then share a live radio interview that I did with Dr. Nita Vallens on KPFK with thousands of listeners. This interview was a fundraiser and I think you can learn a lot from paying attention to how I navigate the interview, the stories I share, and the transition we both make to the fundraising section.
