Ep #162 - My guest today is Dr. Aaron L. Smith, the founder of Workplace Readiness Solutions and an expert with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Dr. Smith assists schools, company leaders and communities to work together so they can develop and sustain a pipeline of competent and job-ready employees.
A 2008 graduate of Old Dominion University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Dr. Smith has over two decades of experience in the classroom as a mathematics teacher and administrator.
He has developed a passion for workplace readiness and STEM where he has shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University and Christopher Newport University.
In this interview, we discuss the state of America's education system and how to improve it. You will also hear how STEM can provide a more practical learning experience for young students. It's a fascinating topic and there's a lot to unpack. Enjoy!
